Unlike pillow packs that hide the product, a double twist wrap partially reveals the candy through transparent film, creating a handcrafted, artisanal appearance that commands higher retail prices.
The Junyao double twist packing machine automates this traditionally labor-intensive process. It handles round, oval, and rectangular candies, chocolates, and nougat pieces, producing consistent, tight twist wraps at production speeds that would require dozens of manual workers. The machine's twist mechanism is adjustable for different twist tightness and film tail lengths, allowing you to match the packaging style to your brand positioning.
1. Consistent twist quality at production speed. The mechanical twist grippers are precision-machined and servo-controlled, maintaining consistent twist tightness across thousands of pieces. Unlike pneumatic systems that can drift with air pressure fluctuations, the servo-driven twist heads deliver repeatable results hour after hour.
2. Gentle product handling. Candies and chocolates are transferred through the wrapping cycle without impact. The twist motion is controlled — the film ends are gathered and twisted, not pulled or stretched.
3. Film versatility. Compatible with cellulose film, wax paper, PVC twist film, and laminated twist films. The twist tightness and tail length are adjustable through the HMI for different film materials and product sizes.
4. Quick size changeover. Change parts — product pockets, twist heads, film feed guides — are tool-free quick-change designs. Format changes between product sizes take under 15 minutes.
